Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PromptLuv ("PromptLuv", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the PromptLuv app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use PromptLuv.

1. Who can use PromptLuv

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give accurate information about yourself and use your own photos.
• One account per person. You're responsible for everything that happens on your account.

2. How you treat other people

PromptLuv is for real, respectful connections. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, scam or pressure anyone, including for money or gifts;
• post sexual content involving minors, hate speech, or anything illegal;
• impersonate someone else or create fake accounts;
• use PromptLuv for advertising, solicitation or commercial purposes;
• put phone numbers, emails, social media handles or links in your profile name or bio;
• interfere with the app, its security, or other people's use of it.

You can report or block anyone from their profile or your conversation. Reporting someone also blocks them. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may hide a profile from Discover while reports about it are reviewed.

3. Communication Pass (subscription)

• The Communication Pass is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• It renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple ID's subscription settings.
• With an active Pass you can send messages to any of your matches. A match who doesn't have a Pass can reply to messages you send them. When your Pass ends, new messages can no longer be sent in those chats, but past messages stay readable.
• Billing, renewals and refunds of App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

4. Sparks

• Sparks are virtual items you buy in the app and use to send gifts or to unlock a chat with one match for 7 days. They are a limited license to use a feature of PromptLuv, not money, and they have no cash value.
• Unlocking a chat lets both of you message each other freely in that match until the unlock ends. Unlocks can't be paused, transferred or refunded, including if either person unmatches, blocks or deletes their account.
• Sparks can't be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or moved between accounts, except by sending a gift in the app.
• All Spark purchases are final. We don't give refunds for Sparks, except where required by law. Refund requests for App Store purchases are decided by Apple, not by us.

5. Gifts

• You can send gifts to people you've matched with. Paid gifts cost Sparks; stickers are free.
• The receiver has 48 hours to accept or decline a paid gift. If they decline it or it expires, 90% of the Sparks go back to you as Sparks (not cash).
• Gifts are voluntary. Never send gifts because someone pressured you, and never ask anyone to send you gifts in exchange for anything. Report anyone who does.

6. Gift earnings and cashing out

• When you accept a paid gift, half of its value is added to your gift earnings (for example, $0.49 for a Rose). Gift earnings are not a bank balance and have no cash value until they are successfully cashed out.
• 7-day hold: earnings from a gift can be cashed out 7 days after you accept it.
• The minimum cash out is US$10 and the maximum is US$500 per request. Your first cash out is limited to US$50. You can cash out once every 24 hours.
• Payments are sent to the PayPal account you provide, usually within 3–5 business days. You're responsible for giving a correct PayPal email; payments sent to the email you entered can't be recovered by us.
• You're responsible for any taxes on money you receive. We may ask for tax information (for example, a W-9 in the US) before or after paying you, and we may pause cash outs until we receive it.
• We may hold, delay or refuse a cash out while we check for fraud, abuse or a violation of these Terms.

7. Refunds, chargebacks and reversals

If a purchase that paid for Sparks is refunded by Apple or reversed through a chargeback:

• the refunded Sparks are removed from the buyer's account, and the buyer's Spark balance may become negative;
• gifts paid for with those Sparks may be reversed, and the earnings they gave are removed from the receiver, even if the receiver did nothing wrong. If those earnings were already cashed out, the receiver's gift earnings balance may become negative and future gift earnings will first repay it;
• we may suspend cash outs or close accounts involved in refund abuse, and keep any gift earnings obtained through it.

When you request a refund from Apple, you agree that we may share information about your purchase and how you used it (for example, whether the Sparks were spent) with Apple, so Apple can decide your request.

8. Fraud and abuse

Using multiple accounts, fake gifts, stolen payment methods, refund schemes, or any other trick to create or move Sparks or gift earnings is not allowed. If we find it, we may reverse the Sparks, gifts and earnings involved, refuse or reclaim cash outs, close the accounts, and report it to Apple, PayPal or the authorities.

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time. Unused Sparks are lost when an account is deleted. Gift earnings that are available to cash out can be cashed out first; please do so before deleting. If we close your account for breaking these Terms, you may lose any Sparks and gift earnings on it, except where the law says otherwise.

10. Apple

These Terms are between you and PromptLuv, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must also follow Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

11. Disclaimers and limits

PromptLuv is provided "as is". We don't guarantee matches, conversations or any outcome, and we aren't responsible for how other users behave, online or offline. Meet people carefully and in public places. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using PromptLuv after that, you accept the updated Terms.
