PromptLuv ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, age, and username.

Profile information: Photos you upload, your bio, and any preferences you set in your profile.

Activity data: Prompts you answer, matches you make, streaks, gifts sent and received, and in-app purchases.

Device information: Push notification tokens, device type, and operating system version for delivering notifications.

Payment information: In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store). We do not store your payment card details. Payout requests (Hearts cashout) collect your PayPal email address.

Communications: Your prompt responses and interactions within the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To match you with other users based on your activity
• To deliver push notifications (new matches, prompt replies, streak reminders)
• To process in-app purchases and payout requests
• To maintain streaks and reward activity
• To improve the app and fix issues
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in limited circumstances:

• Other users: Your display name, age, photos, and prompt responses are visible to your matches.
• Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (push notifications and payments), and Expo (app delivery).
• PayPal: If you request a payout, your PayPal email is shared with PayPal to process the payment.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction: You can view and edit your profile information in the app at any time.
• Account deletion: You can delete your account from the Profile screen. This permanently removes your data within 30 days.
• Push notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
• Data requests: Contact us at stant7896@gmail.com to request a copy of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

PromptLuv is intended for users 17 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we become aware that a user is under 17, we will delete their account immediately.

7. Third-Party Links

The app may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services and encourage you to review their policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
